SUMMARY:Happy 250th Anniversary to the U. S. Army
DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters for Buffalo/Niagara offer thanks and appreciation to the men and women who have served in the U.S. Army, made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our country and today continue to serve our United States and its Constitution.  We also thank the families of these brave men and women, for they also serve.\nWhen they enlist, soldiers “…do solemnly affirm that [they] will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that [they] will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that [they] will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over [them], according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”\nAlways remember your first duty to the Constitution of the United States.  Thank you for your service.\n
