SUMMARY:EVENT: Int’l Day of Friendship
DESCRIPTION:https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0549A9A82EABF8C07-57754862-rally ( https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0549A9A82EABF8C07-57754862-rally ) Click to join\n\n\nTrouble Nation by Red Wine and Blue  invite you to join us for the International Day of Friendship on Saturday, August 16th for a community gathering at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island. We’ll be at picnic area #5.\nThis event will be less like a protest and much more like a purposeful family picnic where we reinforce our cross-border friendships and also connect with one another. We’ll think through what’s next as we deepen our commitment to non-violent non-cooperation and direct action against the Trump regime.\nWe will wave to our Canadian neighbors, have a teach-in around next steps in the work of resistance, and break bread together. Like the friends and neighbors that we are.\nYou can RSVP at the Good Neighbors site, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1236750587775443/ or on Mobilize, at https://www.mobilize.us/friendsxborders/event/815738/\nBring a flag, bring a kite, bring a picnic for yourself and a friend. If you can, bring a grocery card or a new, reusable grocery bag for our friends at Justice for Migrant Families. Hey, maybe bring a friend who shares some of your concerns, but who has been reluctant to come out to an event so far.\n\n\n
