Peace Movement
Peace Movement
Between the end of World War One and the start of World War Two the Erie County League of Women Voters
became involved with the national "Peace Movement" along with the New York State League and
the National League.
Representatives from the Erie County League took part in disarmement conferences in
Washington, D.C. Here in Western New York the League provided forums for discussions
on the peace movement as well as joining with other groups to study the
Causes and Cure of War.
