In-person League meetings are postponed for the duration.
This includes voter registration drives.
If you need to register to vote and have legal paper (8.5×14 inches), you can download and print a voter registration form to mail to your local Board of Elections in English and in Spanish.
If you do not have legal-sized paper, you can print the voter registration form on letter-sized paper (8.5×11 inch). You must set your printer to “Fit to Page” or 75% of original size.
You can request a New York State Voter Registration form from the New York State Board of Elections by filling in this online form or by calling their 1-800-FOR-VOTE hotline.
The deadline to register to vote in the November 3 General Election is Friday, October 9, 2020

The Presidential Primary Election in NYS has been postponed to
June 23 -- the same date as the Congressional and State Legislature Primary.
Tuesday, June 23 is also the last day to postmark your absentee ballot

New York State taxes due (postponed from April 15).

Friday, October 9
Last day to postmark mail-in voter registration forms for the General Election (must be received by your County Board of Elections no later than October 14).
Saturday, October 10
Last day to deliver in-person voter registration forms for the General Election
Wednesday, October 14
Last day for your County Board of Elections to receive a notice of change of address before the General Election. Don't wait until the last minute!
Saturday, October 24
Last day to register in-person voter registration forms for the General Election if and only if you were honorably discharged from the US Military or became a naturalized US Citizen after October 10, 2020.
Tuesday, October 27
Last day to postmark an absentee ballot application before the November 3 General Election.
Monday, November 2
Last day to apply IN-PERSON for absentee ballot.
Last day to postmark absentee ballot (must be received by the local board
of elections no later than Nov. 10th).
Military Voter Ballots sent by this day must be
received no later than Nov. 16th.
Tuesday, November 3
Last day to deliver absentee ballot IN-PERSON to the local board of elections (by someone other than the voter).
