What can you do?

Find out who makes planning decisions in your municipality, when and where they meet, and how to get in touch with them to tell them what you think. Ask to see the master plan, and evaluate its usefulness. Was it developed with the help of professional planners? Have quality-of-life issues been taken into account? Have adjoining municipalities been consulted, and is cooperation encouraged? Are local office holders open to regional planning for land use? Do they support implementation of the Erie-Niagara Framework for Regional Growth and the establishment of an Erie County Planning Board?
