Event flyer for a candidate forum on March 4, 2026, at 6:30pm at Alden Community Center, Alden, NY, featuring Aaron Gies (Democrat) and Jim King (Republican).

ALDEN BIPARTISAN TOWN HALL

Moderated by Braver Angels WNY and co-hosted by Good Neighbors Getting it Done in WNY we hope you can join us for a lively but respectful discussion about the impact of federal government policies on the 23rd Congressional District.

The public is welcomed and encouraged to join Republican Jim King and Democrat Aaron Gies, candidates for Congress in NY 23 as they discuss the issues and challenges facing our district and how conscientious, community forward representation will help to improve the lives of all who call WNY home.

King, an engineer from Owego and Gies, a professor from Olean will answer questions submitted by the audience without hype, fiction or speculation. A sincere effort to get people from all political persuasions talking not just about problems but also possible solutions that Congress could offer.

These candidates are willing to do the hard work around representing this large district. It starts with in person appearances, meeting real people from all walks of life; not just lobbyists and the well connected.

As always Congressman Langworthy has been invited to join us.

Doors open at 6:30pm to register, submit questions and meet the candidates. Program starts at 7pm.
