VOLUNTEER: How To Festival
This large event, organized by the libraries, includes many presenters providing advice on practical matters—think knitting or building a shed. The League will be providing two kinds of practical advice: How to vote with power, which starts with registration and voter information (Voter registration slot) but also includes ballot analysis and issues-based voting, and advocacy.(Citizen advocacy and good governance slot.) Please sign up for whichever you prefer.

The Central Library’s How-To Festival is an event where patrons learn “how to” do new things!
For a few hours, the library is filled with people sharing skills, hobbies, knowledge, community resources, and hands-on activities. Topics will range from creative and practical skills to local organizations and services. Patrons, for example, can learn how to do tai chi, how to letterpress, and how to fix a flat tire.
