VOLUNTEER: Pulaski Day Parade
Simply show up and help celebrate USA’s 250th anniversary by honoring veterans and flaunting your Polish heritage (or admire that of others). Enjoy eating pierogis and kielbasa, and register and educate voters!
On Saturday, September 12 (commencing at 11:30AM), a parade that celebrates the life and legacy of General Casimir Pulaski will commence in Depew at 11:30am. It will proceed from the Municipal Building on Manitou Street to Veterans Park.
Pulaski – a Polish nobleman, soldier, and military commander has been hailed as “The Father of American cavalry” and as “The Soldier of Liberty” thanks to his efforts in the American Revolutionary War, and as a general in the Continental Army.
