A WNY TRADITION RETURNS ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2026!
Dog Days of Kenmore is back – and they’re working to make 2026 the best year yet! Special thanks to Kenmore’s very own Laundromutt for coming on board as naming sponsor! First launched in 2012, Dog Days grew over the next eight years into Western New York’s largest outdoor dog event, drawing thousands of dogs and their people to Mang Park each fall. The event paused during the pandemic years, and we are delighted to bring it back – same spirit, same community, same beloved afternoon in the park. Whether you’re a dog owner coming for the fun, a pet-industry vendor looking to reach a passionate audience, or a curious neighbor wondering what all the barking is about – we’d love to see you there.
JOIN THE PAW-TY AT MANG PARK, NOON – 4PM
- Exciting local vendors from across the region – pet products, artisans and makers, gourmet treats and more
- Area rescue groups sharing their work and introducing adoptable dogs
- An agility course and demonstrations curated by Jeannine Jay, Owner/Trainer at Canine Complex and Friends
- Contests with prizes for dogs of every size, style, and personality (Best Trick, Best Costume, Musical Hoola-Hoop)
- Live music by Back Room Jazz Band throughout the afternoon
- Free face-painting (from 1pm – 3pm)
- Blessing of the Dogs by the Clergy
- Memorial Chapel to honor those in puppy heaven
- Food trucks and vendors for humans (and sometimes the dogs, depending on the vendor)
- Parades, demonstrations, and activities that make an afternoon in the park a real event
