On September 25, 2024, a pivotal event took place in Buffalo, where young voters gathered to discuss crucial issues such as reproductive rights, environmental justice, and economic justice. The event at the William Emslie Family YMCA featured a distinguished panel including Nile Blass from the League of Women Voters, Giavanna Cuomo-Browne from the Buffalo Center for Health Equity, Lisa Hicks from the City of Buffalo Division of Development, and W. Charles Brandy from Buffalo Public Schools. Jamil Crews moderated the discussion. Jamil is an accomplished leader, a visionary, an entrepreneur, and an advocate for change who looks to leave a legacy of his own here in Western New York.
Panelists addressed topics including access to reproductive health care, the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities, and economic challenges such as rising rents and student loan debt.

(@KappaUpsilonzetabuffalo), and the Eta Rho Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. (@BuffaloSGRho). This event was a call to action, emphasizing the vital role of young voters in shaping the future ahead of the 2024 election.
