CANDIDATE FORUM – Federal, State and Local
LWVBN and Amherst Center for Senior Services are co-sponsoring a Meet & Greet + Candidate Forum. The Meet & Greet will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the Candidate Forum will be held from 9:00AM – 11:00AM. All candidates on the ballot for the U.S. House of Representatives District 26, New York Assembly District 146, Erie County Legislature District 5, and Erie County Comptroller will be invited to participate. Each office will have a separate Candidate Forum that morning.
Request for Candidate Forum Volunteers
The League regularly hosts candidate forums for local elections and school board elections to inform and educate voters. We need volunteers to moderate, screen questions, keep time, videotape, and serve as ushers at in-person candidate forums. We would also love to have an event coordinator to oversee Candidate Forums.
