Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Welcome to the 6th Annual MLK Day of Service, held in WNY and hosted by the Monarch of Infinite Possibilities LLC, in partnership with the Buffalo Urban League, Legislator Lawrence Dupree, Masten District Councilwoman Zeneta Everhart, NAACP Buffalo Branch, AmeriCorps, and East Side Stewards. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s timeless call to action, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” we come together to honor his legacy through community service. This powerful day is an opportunity to take meaningful action and create lasting change by engaging in projects that promote justice, equity, and unity.

MLK, Jr. Day begins at Bethel AME Church on Michigan Street on January 19th with a Rally at 8:00 where volunteers will receive a warm welcome, participate in engaging introductory activities and grab some breakfast before heading out to their assignments from 9:00 – 11:00.
