Join the League of Women Voters Buffalo Niagara at the Buffalo History Museum for an evening of community, conversation, and fun voting themed activities!

Doors open at 5:00 PM, so come early to:
Mix and Mingle
Explore the Buffalo History Museum’s galleries and exhibits
Enjoy cider, donuts, and food from Buffalo’s Best Grill food truck
Test your civic knowledge, learn about voting rights, and tell your voting stories at three fun, voting-themed activity stations!

At 6:00 PM, hear from special guest speaker Melissa Parker Leonard, who will present “The Power of a Voice.”

Melissa is an educator, researcher, and public historian of Tonawanda Seneca descent. She is the founder of 7th Gen Cultural Resources, President of the Board of Managers of The Buffalo History Museum, a founding board member of Indigenous Women’s Initiatives, and an instructor at Buffalo State University.

We’ll wrap up the evening by inviting guests to share their own voting stories, followed by Melissa Parker Leonard’s closing reflections on the power each of us has to make our voices heard.
