The League of Women Voters of Buffalo Niagara was honored as the Highmark Community Hero on Sunday, November 3, when the Buffalo Bills faced the Miami Dolphins at Highmark Stadium. In addition to shining a spotlight on LWVBN, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield presented Lori Robinson, president, with a personalized Buffalo Bills football and, even better, a donation of $2,500. The League was recognized with a special tribute during the game plus an on-field experience before kickoff. On the weekend before Election Day, the theme of the day was NFL Votes.
