League Members Invited to Attend AAUW Program: Post–Election Reflections
Post-Election Reflections will be addressed on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Northwest Amherst Community Center, 220 Northpointe Parkway, Amherst 14228. Registration and social time begin at 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
By November 14, we should know for sure who the next president of the United States will be. What does the outcome mean for us both individually and as a country? We are fortunate to have two of the most knowledgeable political minds in the area speaking with us on the most important takeaways from the election. Lee Coppola, a veteran newspaperman, television investigative reporter and federal prosecutor, retired in August 2011 after 15 years as the first dean of the Russell J. Jandoli School of Communication at St. Bonaventure University. Robert J. McCarthy is a political analyst for WKBW-TV. He has covered all the major elections in New York State and Western New York since 1992, including 14 national conventions.
To register, please send a check written to AAUW Buffalo for $10 per person along with the names, phone numbers and email addresses of everyone included in the registration to AAUW Buffalo, P.O. Box 894, Buffalo, NY 14225.
